Inspired by Yoga, art and science, Mika (Mihaela Kavdanska) works as a certified yoga teacher with over twenty years of personal practice and more than a decade of teaching experience across different Yoga traditions and styles. She shares Yoga through weekly classes, workshops, retreats, Yoga & Art experiences and individual coaching, integrating movement, breath, meditation and mindful awareness. She is particularly passionate about Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Vipassana meditation and mantra chanting, and about creating spaces that invite connection and a shared state of presence. Mika holds a 500-hour E-RYT certification with Yoga Alliance International and received her Level I Authorisation to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga after completing intensive teacher training with Acharya Vijaya Kumar in Mysore, India. She continues to return regularly to Mysore to deepen her practice and studies with her teachers. Alongside Yoga, Mika has worked in the fields of visual and media arts since the early 2000s. Her artistic practice and long-standing interest in perception, embodiment and participatory experiences naturally intersect with her approach to Yoga. Her work brings together the wisdom of traditional Yoga with contemporary insights from neuroscience, somatic awareness and artistic practice, offering experiences that are rooted in tradition while remaining accessible and relevant to daily life.
